Plot: When US elite soldiers are rampaging in the nazi Germany, in a Tarantino film, you don’t know what you are missing…
Chit~Chat: Wow. Movies can have brands too, and Tarantinos name is one of these brands. He makes his movies in his own special way. You can see his “footprints” all over the film. The thing that way most exciting for me were the many little close-ups of different things. Like the feet under the table, or such… Every second of the film focuses on the feelings of people. With amazing camera angles, colors and close-ups and a lots of blood it is a film that won’t let you sleep in you chair… Acting is brilliant, just as awaited. Brad Pitt with his accent, although sometimes I couldn’t understand him, forges an amazing character. And on the other side Christoph Waltz makes the same thing. His character keeps you on the tip of a needle when he enters the scene.
AcademyAwards: Won just one prize: Christoph Waltz for best supporting actor. Was also nominated for best cinematography, director, editing, sound, sound editing, Picture and screenplay.
